Tazo - All Natural Green Tea China Green Tips - 20 Tea Bags
USD 3.84
Tazo Green Tea All Natural China Green Tips The Reincarnation of Tea. Tazo Green Tea All Natural China Green Tips is a varietal green tea. Tazo Green Tea All Natural China Green Tips contains a blend of high-grown Chinese Mao Feng green teas that are cultivated in Zhejiang province, and plucked in the spring as they have been for thousands of years. After harvesting, the tea is quickly steamed to halt the fermentation process before it can darken the leaves and alter the fresh taste. At various times throughout history, Tazo has emerged among the more advanced cultures of the day as a calming and lyrical addition to the routines of daily life. During the Tang Dynasty, around seventh century A.D., gifts of Tazo were used to coax various moguls into attending a summit meeting where China was, for the first time, unified. What Is Tazo? To most people, Tazo is simply a wonderfully delicious beverage that begins when the world's finest teas are blended with extraordinary imagination. Modern tea scholars believe the original Tazo formulas can still be seen on the Tazo Stone, which was uncovered when a cave on the shores of the Red Sea was revealed by an abnormally low tide following a lunar eclipse and earthquake in 1987. You may be content to not think about it at all, but instead simply enjoy the rich, invigorating, contemplative, satisfying experience that is Tazo. How Tazo Got Its Name The name Tazo has roots in many civilizations. Tazo actually means "river of life" in the Romany language, and was used as a toast to life by ancient Greeks. Tazo also means "fresh" in several Hindi dialects. In ancient Babylonia, Tazo was a rejuvenating elixit thought to have magical properties. Tazo Mission To bring you the most intriguing tea in the modern world, on the strength of artful blending, distinctive taste and the use of only premium-quality teas and botanicals. (In other words, a tea unlike any you may have tasted before.

Mao Feng Organic Loose Green Tea, 100g Bag.
USD 19.00
A lot of famous teas come from the region in China called The Golden Triangle, which was the source of many Imperial Tribute Teas or in modern days called "famous teas". Tribute Teas were chosen by the Emperor of the last four dynasties for remarkable taste and qualities. The teas were exclusively available only for royal tastes and sometimes even were used as tax payment. If any of the Tribute teas that did not satisfy the royal taste, they would be given to court officials, who could drink the tea or sell it illegally for profit. In Chinese, "Mao" means fluffy, and "Feng" means mountain peaks. Our organic Mao Feng grows in the mountains of central Zhejiang province and is harvested only in early spring from leaves picked at the right moment and carefully processed. The highest grades use only one bud and the first leaf. Each day the leaves will be different, and they produce a slightly different batch of tea. The leaf has a pleasantly sweet, mildly fragrant aroma, with a hint of apricot. The brew in the cup usually infuses to a very pale yellow with a hint of green. Mao Feng Tea drinkers say that the first brewing is fragrant, the second brewing is sweet, and the third brewing is strong. The tea tastes clean and refreshing, and lasts a long time on the tongue. Like a great wine, it also has to be a good year. OUR ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PACKAGING: Our hand-crafted packaging is simple, visually sophisticated, and sustainable. It reflects our values, and the values of our customers. All our packaging is 100% recyclable and biodegradable, made of paper and non-toxic soy ink. We would like to make sure that you pay for quality tea, and nothing more.

Premium Huang Shan Mao Feng Green Tea 56.7g 2oz Tea In 2011 Spring
USD 12.88
Premium 'Huang Shan Mao Feng' Chinese Green Tea Vintage Spring, 2011 Rating ***** (5 out of 5) Huang Shan (Yellow Mountain) Mao Feng green tea, ranks 4th in the ten most famous Chinese teas, is noted for its long-lasting floral aroma and fresh, sweet taste. Grown at an elevation of over 800 meters, our special harvest Mao Feng is handpicked from wild trees of the Yellow Mountain. The higher mountain elevation, with more cloud cover and cooler temperatures, creates the ideal environment for a sweet, succulent leaf. Plucked very young at the stage of only a bud and a single unfolding leaf, the leaves when processed are yellowish green, flat with a very slight upturn, and covered with silvery hair. Ours is the early April picking in 2011, which is sold as a special choice grade. The Huang Shan (literally Yellow Mountain) is a mountain range in southern Anhui province in eastern China. The area is famous for its scenic beauty, which lies in the peculiar shapes of the granite peaks, in the weather-shaped pine tree
