Should I feed my Doberman pup with minced beef and rice mix (home-made) or continue with Purina Dog Food?

Some people say that packed dog food like Purina, Iams, Pedigree etc contains all round nutrition for the dog and feeding her beef keema and rice mix is Old Fashioned and back dated for those days when there used to be no nutritional dog food like nowadays.. This is confusing !

If you're confused it's real easy to simplify this. DO NOT buy ANY of the dog food brands that are at the grocery stores or WalMart. Please consider the fact that there have been 11 pet food recalls in the last 12 years that have killed thousands of pet's. That's a problem for us and our pets!! Someone suggested Hills Science Diet and you just have to forgive them for they know not what they speak of. Also DO NOT feed your puppy ANYTHING that Purina makes, ever!! NO Iams, no Pedigree, Eukanuba, Ol Roy, NONE of the crap that's available in the grocery stores or WalMart. You have to know how to properly read labels before you buy anything from PetSmart or Petco too!!

Find a premium dog food that doesn't contain ANY corn, wheat, soy, byproducts, artificial preservatives like ethoxyquin, BHA & BHT, or artificial colors. No "meat and bone meal". All meats contained in a dogs food must be named SPECIFICALLY. Such as Turkey or Chicken, not "poultry". Or, Beef or Venison NOT "meat". Words like poultry or meat means mystery meat and it's usually filthy contaminated crap. What the commercial pet food companies get away with putting into our pets food should be a crime! All of the ingredients mentioned above cause all sorts of allergies, kidney and liver failure, heart disease, compromised immune systems, cancer, etc. and they shorten our pets lives.

Dogs are carnivores and they need a variety of meats, fish, organ meats and raw meaty bones. When they get a VARIETY of meat, and they get liver and hearts, they get all the nutrients they need to maintain a Healthy Balance. Not once, ever in the history of time, has a wolf or coyote raided a farmers corn crop or wheat or soy crop or rice patties. NEVER has a wolf or coyote been observed chasing down a corn cake or hunting for Wheat Thins or breaking into a chinamans house to steal his rice. Although rice is a better alternative than corn, wheat or soy, but if you must use rice, then Brown Rice is more nutritious.

I'll provide you with a variety of links that will educate you for your search for a "better" dog food. It's time consuming but very worth it if you love your puppy and want to provide the healthiest diet you can for him. He will live a much longer, healthier, happy life with you and you will be spared ginormous vet bills and painful heartache.
