Need homemade beef barley soup recipe that tastes like Campbells?
My husband loves Campbells Beef Barley Soup but I like to make homemade soups to avoid chemicals. Does anyone have a recipe for Beef Barley Soup that tastes like the Campbell's version?

I love the chicken barley one too and tried once to make my own. One tip I'd have after that is to cook the barley a looong time to make it as mooshy as it is in canned or processed soup... or you could also try freezing the barley after cooking it before adding to the soup since that should also break down the fiber and make anything softer.
