Mix Bars
Would like to make Cake Mix into bars..?
But I can't find any recipe!!! All I want to do is make german choc cake mix into bars because I like it better dense. I will frost them w/ pecan frosting. How can I make the cake mix into bar form? Baking directions..?
Instead of using a 9x13" pan, you could use a lasagna pan. You might want to leave 1 of the eggs out too, since that helps it rise more. Yesterday someone posted a recipe for cake with german Chocolate Cake mix and the canned frosting put into the mix, making it very dense & moist. You might be able to search that, or find it on here...
Definitely do NOT do the recipe for the cake mix cookies in a small 8" pan. There's too much batter.... in fact, those cookies are very crumbly When You form them into balls. I don't think they'll work as a bar
